Recently, Physics in School of Physics and electronics is certificated as the first-class doctoral discipline according to < Notice of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council on Issuing the list of new authorization for Ph.D and master degree in 2017> (Academic Degrees〔2018〕NO.9) , published by the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council. This is a breakthrough and milestone of our school on the discipline construction and development .

This is the approval of the disciplinary construction in the school, which is a new platform for student to develop. It offers additional opportunities for teaching and academic research and is a support for construction and development of the school.

The school never stops being committed to the construction of doctoral station,  postgraduate training, and "Double First-rate" construction of Henan University obeying to the requirements of higher education put forward on 19th CPC National Congress.
