On May 6th , the First Technological Civilization Exhibition of the school was held at Jinming campus. The opening ceremony was hosted by Qiao Shihao, deputy Party secretary of the school.
In the ceremony, Liu Bo, vice minister of HENU propaganda department and director of HENU press center expressed congratulations to the exhibition and emphasised the importance of spiritual civilization construction in the university. Gu Yuzong, dean of the school, introduced the achievements on discipline construction, research, training reform, talents team construction, etc. , encouraging students to take this exhibition as a start to cultivate scientific spirit.
The exhibition was formed with nine parts including college publicity, interesting physical experiments, mini science and technology museum, popular science knowledge, photographs of physical phenomenon, quiz show, mini quiz show, products of science and technology, and interactive games, by which one can see the active results our the school in teaching and learning. Nearly a thousand participants came to the exhibition and took active part in the experiments, with the assistant of the staff.
The platform of academic exchange has been set up; the innovation atmosphere has been activated. Participants benefited from the exhibition, sublimated in appreciation, and exchanged academic thinking in communication. The school will actively participate in the spiritual civilization construction and fight for HENU ‘Double First-rate’ construction.
