Our main interest is in the fundamental research on the mixed transport of ions and electrons (nano-ionics) on the bulk and interface of nanometer scale, the influence of ion transport on the surface, interface and bulk crystal structure, the new secondary battery and all solid state battery systems. Recent researches include surface modification methods for lithium ion battery electrodes, mechanism analysis techniques, the construction and control of functional interfaces.
We are undertaking/have undertaken projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, subprojects of the 863 project, international cooperation projects of the Science and Technology Department, overseas study programs of the China Scholarship Council, and postdoctoral programs in China. Since 2013, a total of 30 SCI papers have been published including 2 highly cited papers and 1 cover page in top journal. There are 7 papers with the impact factor over 6 and 16 papers over 3. Among them, more than 10 papers were published in international top journals such as ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Nanoscale, and ChemSusChem, which have exerted great influence in the field of physics and renewable energy.
