This major mainly focuses on communication system and communication network in terms of basic theory, principle and design method, and accepts the basic training and practice of communication engineering. They are capable of mastering a foreign language and engaging in modern communication systems and network design, development, test and engineering application. Through the study, the graduates can achieve all-round development in moral, intellectual, physical aspects, therefore, they will have solid and professional foundation and accomplishment. They can work in the field of communication research, design, manufacture, operation, and in the departments of national economy and defence industryt.
Degree:
(1)Flexible length of course: Basically 4 years,but students can finish their study during 3-7 years.
(2)Graduates will be awarded a bachelor degree in Engineering.

Students are request to earn 157 credits in total, which includes compulsory courses 95.5 credits(Public courses 38 credits; Disciplinary basic courses 39 credits; Professional basic courses 18.5 credits); Optional courses 40.5 credits (Professional courses 32.5 credits,Public courses 8 credits); Practical teaching 21 credits(including 7 specific credits and Graduation Thesis 6 credits ).
