Electronic science and technology is a key discipline in Henan province. This major covers two aspects: electronic science and technology and information science and technology. The curriculum is related to electronic circuits, information technology and micro-electronics. The cultivation direction is divided into microelectronics and applied electronics.
The major of electronic science and technology is to build solid professional foundation and good professional quality. Students of this major mainly learn basic theories and technologies of electronic information science and technology. The basic theories and methods of electronic information science and technology are required to be mastered and trained by strict scientific experiments and scientific thinking. They can use the knowledge and skills learned already to solve practical problems to meet the needs of social and economic development in the information age; These high quality professionals can engage in scientific research, teaching, scientific and technological development, product application and management in electronic circuit technology, communication industry, microelectronics, integrated circuit and other related fields.
Degree:
(1)Flexible length of course: Basically 4 years,but students can finish their study during 3-7 years.
(2)Graduates will be awarded a bachelor degree in Engineering.
Requirements:
Students are request to earn 159 credits in total, which includes compulsory courses 97.5 credits(Public courses 38 credits; Disciplinary basic courses 39 credits; Professional basic courses 20.5 credits); Optional courses 40.5 credits (Professional courses 32.5 credits,Public courses 8 credits); Practical teaching 21 credits(including 7 specific credits and Graduation Thesis 6 credits).
